Reflections
Human Hand
The border wall in El Paso spurred the topic for this week. It hovers over a wildlife refuge, a human intrusion into what should be a space for flora and fauna. But it also points to the artificiality of the construct that nature and human are somehow separate.
So here, humans knowingly intrude, from very large array telescopes to dust storms kicked up by a sand and gravel pit to remitigation efforst to restore the landscape at the same extraction site. And others.
